equality & diversity

From 1998 to 2000 I was principle researcher (part-time) on a longitudinal evaluation of a Development Programme for Black and Minority Ethnic Managers in the NHS.

This was a two-year study jointly undertaken by the Centre for Health Services Studies at Warwick University and the Mary Seacole Centre at De Montfort University and was funded by the Birmingham and Solihull Education Consortium.

I have a personal commitment to the development of work organisations that are sustainable, socially responsible and diverse. I have two current research interests:-

1: Examples of UK organisations in both public and private sectors that have successfully created a more diverse workplace.

2: The experiences of black and minority ethnic male managers in the public and privates sector.

I am happy to exchange views, insights and opinions with managers, researchers and consultants who have experience in these areas.
